WATER: The soil in the valley is sandy loam and it is easy to find clear, clean water at a reasonable depth. Water storage tanks along with a small pump are cost effective alternative to a well, particularly if you are buying your Colorado land for occasional use such as for a site for an RV, a cabin or camping. Burying the tanks helps keep the water cool in the summer. Delivery of water from one of several delivery companies can be arranged before your arrival. ELECTRICITY is available on several of the parcels. For part-time users of parcels without easy access, self contained gas or propane generators are the least expensive method to obtain electricity. For full-time users, solar systems are an economical alternative. The sun shines in the valley 320 or more days per year. ZONING: All of the parcels we sell are zoned for residential or agricultural. | ||
